Day 1

Welcome to your sanctuary

Ecohotel Hacienda Telares is located at an elevation of 2900 meters. You will have time to acclimatize and rest upon arrival in this quiet and green place.
- Enjoy restorative, gentle yoga and a sound bath.
- Gather around the fireplace for a K’oa, an Andean welcome ceremony.

Threads of Tradition

Easygoing morning and an onsite workshop on traditional wool dying and weaving. Follow the process from the shaving of the wool to a finished piece.
- Learn about the meaning and significance behind the patterns and colours of local dress
- Dye llama wool using natural pigments
- Try some backstrap loom weaving

Let nature take care of you. Easygoing morning with somatic activities to decompress and a medicinal plant workshop.

Day 4

Pottery and the Past

Be transported back to a time of Andean ritual and ceremony through ceramics.
Deep dive into the modern-day significance of preserving these ancient traditions.- Get close to ancient pottery found on site

Torotoro National Park: Dino Prints

Torotoro is a significant archeological site in Bolivia, where you can spot dinosaur tracks from the Cretaceous period (spanning 145 million to 65 million years ago).
- Enjoy the scenic drive, with a stop at the historical town of Tarata on the way to Torotoro
- Trek to Cerro Huayllas to see the dinosaur tracks

Torotoro National Park: Ciudad de Itas

This mythical location has been carved by nature over millennia. Many locals believe this place is home to many spirits.
- Trek to discover caves, moonlike landscapes, and unique rock formations
- Sketch some of the stunning surrounding scenery
Day 7

Torotoro National Park: El Vergel

From the mirador (lookout) at the top of Torotoro’s impressive canyon, you come to a path that lead down into the canyon, to El Vergel, an impressive waterfall.
- Hike around the canyon and try to spot the rare red-fronted macaw parrot
- Walk down the steps into the canyon to swim in crystal-clear water by the waterfall

Explore Cochabamba or take time to rest and reflect at Hacienda Telares.
- Wander around plaza 14 de Septiembre with it’s Spanish influences
- Try some local food, like salteñas, silpancho or tucumanas
- Visit the artisanal market
- Take the teleferico (cable cart) up to the Cristo statue on the mountain

From Aguayo To Runway

Bolivian aguayo, the typical colorful cloth that women use to carry groceries and their children. A local designer will elaborate on how Bolivian textiles have made it to Paris Fashion week, inspiring you to make an item yourself.
- Visit the biggest outdoor market in South America and find your favorite fabrics
- Upcycle an item of clothing using colorful prints with the help of a local artisan
Day 10

Pico Tunari

Pico Tunari is the highest peak in the Cochabamba region. The trail up to the peak offers stunning panoramic views of the Andes, deep valleys, and glacial lakes.
- Spot many llamas and alpacas during the drive
- Hike up to 5030 meters to admire the view from the summit
- Camp by laguna Macho, experience your best stargazing to date

Cochabamba Cuisine

Bolivia has real hidden gems waiting to be discovered when it comes to their coffee, chocolate, and wine. Local specialists will teach you everything about the high- altitude coffee from the region of las Yungas and Caranavi, native cacao from Beni, and wine from Tarija’s vineyards.
